Giving kit.

Icestar padded across the forest floor to Skyclan border. She waited by it for Cloudstar.

Cloudstar padded out of the Skyclan forest and jumped onto the border. He saw Icestar.

Icestar dropped Tumblekit.

Cloudstar looked at the small kit and picked him up.

Tumblekit squirmed in Cloudstar's mouth.

"Wait!" Icestar shouted.

Cloudstar looked at her. "Yeah?"

"Don't. Give him back!"

Cloudstar narrowed his eyes. "You agreed I'd have one of them."

"I know. Just come here. Bring the kit to the tree.."

"Why?" He padded over to the tree.

"I am running away. Come with me. Please."

Cloudstar's eyes widened. He set down the kit. He took a deep breath. "Think about this. Your clan..... you life.... everything you are! And you're just leaving?"

Icestar replied simply. "Yes. I wanted you to come with."

"But..." He looked back at the Skyclan forest.

Tumble kit mewed and rolled around.

Icestar nodded. "I thought you would. I guess that was to much to expect."

Cloudstar sighed. His head spun. He didn't know what to do. His clan would be in jeopardy if they didn't have a strong willed lead to lead them. But then he thought about Thornstar, and Rainstar, they would love if he left. "Okay," He finally said. "We could go."

"Yay!" I'll go get Rosekit.

Cloudstar nodded.

Tumblekit crawled around, eyes still closed. He crawled on top of A rock.

"Whoa, little one." Cloudstar took his scruff and set him back down near him.

Icestar ran back to her clan, grabbed Rosekit, than ran back.

Cloudstar watched her come back. "Okay. Let's.... go." He took one last look at the Skyclan territory and took Tumblekit's scruff, turning around and waiting for Icestar.

Icestar ran with cloudstar to their tree. "Rest here."

Cloudstar put Tumblekit down and drank water from a puddle.

Icestar sat down, looked at her kits, and began to cry.

Cloudstar didn't notice until he stopped drinking and turned around. "What now?!" He padded over and sat down.

"I can't."
