Meeting with Thornstar

Cloudstar padded near Splinterclan Territory. "Thornstar!" He yowled.

Thornstar came padding out of the shadows. "Cloudstar! You came!"

Icestar jumped higher so they couldn't smell her.

He tried to smile. "Hi. I came because I knew yo would be worried."

She padded over and licked between his ears.

He looked at the ground as she did.

Icestar growled.

She began cleaning his face.

"How was your day?"

He shrugged. "Okay..... a lot of stress with the clan and all."

She finished and looked at him. "What are you thinking about? You seem sad."

Icestar wanted to claw Thornstar's face off.

Cloudstar sighed. "Nothing." He looked at her then back at the ground.

She frowned. "It's Icestar, isn't it?"

His eyes widened and he looked at her. "No, it's-"

"Save it! You love her more and I know it! I'm not good enough for you?"

Icestar muttered, "your plenty of a hand full."

"No, it's not that, Thornstar!"

"You have nothing to say! Get off of my territory before I claw your face off!"

Cloudstar sprinted off the border and slowed down when he wasn't near it. He sighed and looked at the ground as he trotted back.

Ivestar jumped above him. "What was it?"

Cloudstar whirled around. His eyes went dark. "This is all your fault! If you never existed, I would have a happy life with someone I love!" Tears came down his face. "Just stay with Rainstar and forget me!" He sprinted back to his territory.

She ran faster and pinned him. "I knew you'd say that. I want you to kill me. Please. Than tell her that you did it for you and Thornstar. Go on. Bite me in the throat. Please."

Cloudstar pushed her off with all his force. "Leave me alone!"

"If you won't, I'll get Thornstar to," than started running in Thornstar's direction.

Cloudstar stood up. At first his legs felt like lead. "Thornstar will gladly kill her. I have to stop her!" He said before sprinting after her. "Stop!"

"No! You wanted this to happen!"

"No I didn't! I.... I just need some time to think!" Cloudstar shouted, boosting himself so he ran a little faster.

She was almost there.

There is only one way I can stop this! He thought. With one final effort, he jumped on a branch and boosted himself. Soaring in mi-air, he landed on Icestar's back and they tumbled to the ground.

"Let me go Cloudstar."

He pinned her. "No. I won't. We'll be here all night."

"I will make you."

"You can't make me do anything."

Icestar kicked with her back paws sheathed, and wriggled. "Fine. I give up. But why? You said it." She licked his ear. "Let me."

Cloudstar winced. "Ow, you have a mean kick." He thought about her question. "Well........ I was angry...... everything is coming at me at once you know........ I mean physically I'm strong but not emotionally."
